Mac is Back

One of my favorite artists/designers is Charles Rennie Macintosh. In all actuality, I should include his wife too, because many of his "designs" are actually hers. His creativity in all aspects of his life are amazing and way before his time. I also love that he was an all around artist, from sketching and watercolors, to textiles, to interiors. That's something I certainly admire about him and want to be like.

Anyhoo... real life is about to grab me by the arm and take me in, sucking my summer of laziness away. School is about to begin again, although this week I have had the attitude of "bring it on". I can do this!

What's up for this coming year:
1) End the summer with a labor day weekend up north Michigan with friends and fun. I can't wait to
be by water again!
2) Ben Fold's and Kings of Leon rocking live in the next 2 months.
3) Debating to go "home" (aka, GR) for thanksgiving
4) Luke getting a real job
5) (hopefully) getting a new car and crossing our fingers this one doesn't die
6) Spring break in Puerto Rico
7) Finding an internship

My goals:
1) Creating awesome projects that don't result in grumpy portfolio reviews
2) Volunteering at church more, getting involved in the community more
3) Not procrastinating
4) Last (and most importantly) NOT getting pregnant.

The end. Here's a little Mackintosh for you to drool at:

I knew you would like that just as much as I do :)
